GDA Servicios Mineros, a Mexican subsidiary of Guinez Ingenieria, has been awarded the drill contract for this program.
Corex said that the purpose of the first phase of diamond drilling is to start building continuity between the previously identified three main zones (Benjamin, Nicho and Nicho North) where a total of 23,000 meters has been drilled to date.
According to the company, the linking of these known zones would greatly increase the size and tonnage potential of the property.
Canada-based Corex Gold is focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of precious metal deposits in Mexico.
