GE turbine for Nevada plant
Nevada Power Company is to use a 77 MW GE Frame 7EA gas turbine for the expansion of its Harry Allen station, located 50 km north of Las Vegas. The turbine, which will be used for peaking power, is scheduled to enter commercial service in May of 2006.
