Under the terms of the contract, Conergy will design and engineer the construction of the plant. Located in Bais, the solar farm will occupy a land area of 213,292m2.
In addition, Conergy will be responsible for component procurement, and project management of the new plant.
The plant is estimated to generate 24,205MW hours of electricity a year, which is equivalent to the total energy required to power 10,085 households in the region.
Monte Solar Energy president Jose Maria P. Zabaleta said: "MonteSol is the latest in Bronzeoak’s development portfolio of 202MW of solar projects now in operation or under construction. We are delighted to be working once again with Conergy to deliver the timely completion of this new project, which is now part of Bronzeoak’s new partnership with AC Energy."
The project is expected to curb 14,838t of carbon emissions (CO2) every year.
Construction of the plant is slated to be completed in early 2016.

Conergy has also constructed the 45MW San Carlos Solar plant, which is currently the largest operational solar plant in the Philippines.
