Conergy US has selected OPEL Solar and OPEL Technologies (OPEL or the company) to provide TF-800 series of single axis trackers for multiple projects in the state of northern California.

Scheduled to begin generating power later this year, the first project was completed for a 480kW solar power installation at a waste water treatment plant in California Central Valley.

Conergy project development manager David Vincent said OPEL trackers are chosen for the project because of their combination of cost efficiency and quality.

The TF-800 tracker series of ground-mounted single axis trackers are ease of install, and their reverse tracking ability will avoid shadowing from adjacent trackers.

Using wireless tracker network control technology incorporated into TF-800 solar tracker product line helps lower the upfront construction costs while allowing tracker level monitoring, OPEL said.
