Comverge, Inc. (Comverge) has signed an agreement with Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc. (PEC), a Progress Energy, Inc., with an initial term of five years for demand management program. As per the agreement, Comverge will provide demand response hardware, software, software hosting services and project support for PEC's new EnergyWise residential demand response and energy efficiency program. When fully implemented, the program is expected to provide up to 170 megawatts of peak load reduction.
