This move is a result of Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling’s (CCHBC) intentions of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by a minimum of 40%. The proposed plants would be built in CCHBC’s European Union facilities as well as in Nigeria, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
Quoting a company source, Reuters has said that there were no preliminary estimates on cost savings from this particular project. ContourGlobal is planning to construct and manage the plants for 15 years before conceding control of the plants to CCHBC.
