CNPV Solar Power has signed a strategic module supply agreement with JIT Solaire, a project developer and installer of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems based in Western France.
Under the strategic agreement, CNPV will supply JIT Solaire with a total of 20MWp of high performance PV modules during 2011 and 2012.
CNPV’s supply of 6MW solar modules are scheduled for delivery within 2011 and 14MW within 2012.
JIT Solaire president Jerome Bailleul said that the company’s first foray into the Asian solar PV supply arena was a decision that it carefully undertook.
"It was then an easy decision for us to undertake to commit to a long-term agreement, and are excited at the prospect of growing our business and experiences together," Bailleul said.
CNPV, through its subsidiary, CNPV Dongying Solar Power, is an integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules.
CNPV designs, manufactures and supplies highly efficient and cost effective crystalline solar photovoltaic modules.
