Clough AMEC secures contract extension from Chevron

Under the extension valued at $20.83m, Clough AMEC will provide engineering services to Chevron’s oil facilities at Barrow and Thevenard Islands, Western Australia.

Initially, the contract was signed for a three-year period in 2008 and this is the second one-year extension on the contract.

The work including conceptual studies, front-end engineering design, detailed engineering, procurement support, development of construction work packs and construction planning, will be performed by Clough AMEC’s offices in Perth.

Clough Commissioning and Asset Support executive vice president Max Bergomi said, "This is an important contract for our Commissioning and Asset Support business and we will continue to work closely with our client and partner to help achieve operational excellence for these facilities."
