Clear Skies Solar, a provider of turnkey solar electricity installations and renewable energy services, has signed a memorandum of agreement with Badger Creek Development of Beverly Hills, California, for the design and construction of a 2.1MW solar farm to be located in Badger, California.
The project, which is expected to exceed $8 million, is now in the initial design and engineering stages and will be structured as a utility power purchase agreement.
According to the company, it will be working with Frontier Renewables, a solar park developer and engineering, procurement and construction services provider for the engineering, procurement and construction of the project. The solar park will be built on an existing 30-acre Brownfield that once served as an airplane landing Strip, said the solar provider.
Ezra Green, chairman and CEO of Clear Skies Solar, said: “This partnership with Frontier Renewables will enable Clear Skies Solar to expand into larger markets and continue to grow the business both in the US and abroad.”
Clear Skies Solar through its wholly owned subsidiary provides full-service renewable energy services to commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients across the country. The company was incorporated in 2003 and launched formal operations in 2005.
