Clean Energy Fuels Corp has partnered with Waste Pro USA to build, operate and maintain a new compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station on Waste Pr'so property in Florida, US.

The new private time-fill fueling facility in Fort Pierce will provide assistance for the company’s new fleet of CNG-powered trash trucks.

Waste Pro recently allocated $100m for vehicles and fueling stations to transition a portion of its fleet from diesel fuel to CNG fuel.

The investment includes planned construction by Clean Energy of natural gas fueling facilities in the South.

Inauguration of the facility is scheduled for early third quarter of this year, as necessary permits for construction activity have been received.

Under phase I, Waste Pro expects to install 150 heavy-duty waste collection and recycling trucks to serve residential and commercial customers.
