Hitachi Zosen Inova will be responsible for the construction of this multi-fuel plant as the general contractor. The plant will generate electricity by thermal waste treatment.
Commenting on the order, Hitachi Zosen Inova technical project manager René Erler said, "Our decision to contract the detail engineering with Citec was based on their high standards in order to achieve an optimum time schedule and at the same time ensuring the required quality level for the engineering works."
Citec energy & civil director Mats Söderlund said, "We have been involved already in the basic engineering stage of this project and we are very pleased to continue working with HZI and provide also detailed engineering for this project. We aim to develop our business relationship with them further."
The Swiss firm provides services in the field of waste to energy facilities and offers customized plant sections and turn-key plants – covering planning, design and engineering, construction and operation, as well as maintenance and overhaul of plants.
