A combined heat and power plant at Immingham in the UK’s north Lincolnshire has been granted approval to increase capacity from 760 MW to 1,230 MW.
The gas-fired combined heat and power station was built by ConocoPhillips European Power next to its Humber refinery to supply steam and electricity to the refinery, supply steam to a neighbouring refinery, and supply power into the National Grid.
