Under the terms of the agreement, China Sunergy will deliver 5MW of solar cells to Ajit Solar in the first half of 2009, and the remaining 7MW in the latter half of 2009.
Allen Wang, CEO of China Sunergy, said: “Our partnership with Ajit Solar is step forward for China Sunergy as we venture into the Indian solar market. We continue to receive orders for our solar cells. We look forward to working with Ajit Solar and to further penetrating the Asian markets.”
Earlier in the second week of December 2008, China Sunergy announced that it has entered into an agreement with Solarwatt AG to provide 22MW of solar cells over the course of 2009. According to the signed contract, China Sunergy will supply Solarwatt AG with high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells at fixed prices, starting in January of 2009 and continuing at a consistent level through out the year, for a total delivery volume of 22MW.
China Sunergy is a manufacturer of solar cell products in China. It manufactures solar cells from silicon wafers utilizing crystalline silicon solar cell technology to convert sunlight directly into electricity through a process known as the photovoltaic effect.
