TDL, which designs and manufactures a series of lead acid batteries based on its proprietary plate component formula for mostly the electronic bicycle market, has an established sales network in Fujian and Shangdong province.

The acquisition of TDL Power Technology, which is claimed to develop batteries providing the advantages of long duration, high output and low failure rate, is a part of China Ritar Power’s competitive strategy of expanding business.

The companies will settle the final purchase determination following the results and conclusions reached after China Ritar Power performs the due diligence work to seal the deal by the end of 2010.

China Ritar CEO, Hu Jiada said that the company is excited to work together with the dedicated TDL team and the acquisition will strengthen China Ritar’s R&D capability, expand its product portfolio, improve its competitive position in several key markets and enhance its the overall product quality.
