Ms Guo has over 12 years of financial experience at various companies in China, including previously serving in the role of CFO. Most recently, from September 2005 to July 2007, Ms Guo was the CFO of Aoda Enterprise Group.
Xiaogang Zhu, who preceded Ms Guo as CFO of the company, has resigned as an officer of the company due to personal health reasons.
Ji Qinan, chairman of China Natural Gas, said: We are delighted to have Ms Guo join our team. Her strong finance and accounting background will be an asset to our company as we expand and manage our growth. I am pleased to welcome her to China Natural Gas on behalf of the company and the board of directors. We also thank Zhu Xiaogang for his contributions to China Natural Gas.
