Ghana has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with China’s Sino-Hydro for the construction of the Bui Dam hydro electric in the Brong Ahafo Region
Details of the contract for the project are still being finalised, although a $1.5 million is being spent on an environmental impact assessment for the project, which was first proposed in the 1970s.
