Under the contract, CER will design, manufacture and install a waste heat recovery system for a new sulfuric acid manufacturing plant which is currently being built.

The system is rated to produce approximately 22.5tons of steam-per-hour at 180 degrees Celsius and 0.8MPa.

The installation is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of next year.

CER chairman and CEO Qinghuan Wu said the engineering project will reduce the amount of energy the new plant requires from outside the facility and also lower operating costs.

"CER’s waste heat recovery systems are central to China’s industrial manufacturing sector achieving energy-efficiency goals established by national policy last year," Wu said.

CER is an engineering and manufacturing company engaged in the design, construction and installation of waste heat energy recovery systems.
