China Energy Recovery (CER) has signed a contract with Yichang Western Chemical to design, manufacture and install a waste heat recovery system for a new sulfuric acid project located in Hubei province, China.

The new waste heat recovery system will be capable of producing 499 tons of steam-per-day at 171 degrees Celsius and 0.7mpa.

As per the CNY29.7m ($4.56m) contract, CER plans to complete the waste heat recovery system by 20 April 2012.

In addition to the new contract, the company has received several single boiler orders, valued at CNY21.6m ($3.31m).

The company intends to complete all the single boiler contracts within this year.
