Under the deal, Cheniere Energy will supply LNG cargoes on an ex-ship basis primarily to the Montoir de Bretagne LNG regasification terminal in France.
The deal will include the delivery of around 12 cargoes per year or up to 222 million MMBtus in total, from 2018 to 2023.
Cheniere said that it will sell the volumes at contract prices linked to Northern European indices.
Cheniere will gather the volumes from its global LNG supply portfolio, where it includes rights under separate SPAs with Sabine Pass Liquefaction and Corpus Christi Liquefaction.
On a combined basis, Cheniere is expected to source around nine million tonnes of LNG per annum from the nine liquefaction trains being developed at Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi.
Cheniere chairman and CEO Charif Souki said: "This SPA with ENGIE furthers our strategy of supplying LNG to European markets and diversifies our marketing portfolio with sales tied to Northern European price indices.
"Deliveries are expected to be made to the Montoir de Bretagne LNG terminal or to alternative delivery points as determined by our customer."
In September this year, Cheniere Energy also signed a deal to supply 24 cargoes of LNG from the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, to French energy giant Électricité de France (EDF).
Under the terms of the deal, Cheniere Marketing International will sell approximately 89 million MMBtus on an ex-ship basis (DES) from the Sabine Pass LNG terminal located along the Sabine Pass River on the border between Texas and Louisiana, from 2017 through 2018.
