Under the contract, CG will supply 315 MVA 765kV single phase generator step-up transformers, 85 MVA 765kV tie transformers and 80 MVAR shunt reactors for the NTPC’s 800MW power generation facility.

The Darlipali super thermal power plant is located at Darlipali village in Sundargarh district.

By 2030, the installed generating capacity in India is expected to increase to over 700GW from the current level of 228GW.
