Germany-based Centrosolar and US-based Zep Solar have collaborated to develop and market Zep products in Europe.
Centrosolar will manufacture Zep Compatible modules in its own production plant in Wismar, Germany.
Zep Solar provides mounting solutions for installing photovoltaic systems, enabling modules with a specialized Zep Groove frame to be installed quickly and easily.
Centrosolar’s Zep Compatible modules incorporate a grooved frame, allowing the modules to easily mate with Zep grounding hardware.
This module-integrated design provides a reduction of system components and tools as well as the elimination of bulky rails, and separate grounding hardware is eliminated as well.
Under the agreement, the development teams of both companies have preferred Zep Solar’s standard frame profile to make the best use of materials and to suit the requirements of European roof applications.
