Emission monitoring products and services provider Cemtrex has secured a $0.5 million order to supply a complete continuous emission monitoring system to measure the concentrations of the flue gas discharged by a 2x500MW stack at a coal fired power plant in eastern India.

The Cemtrex continuous emission monitoring system (CEMS) will be custom-engineered for this application and will involve four separate measurement locations, consisting of inlet and outlet of two flue gas desulfurization systems.

The CEMS will measure oxygen, sulfur dioxide, temperature, flow, humidity, and pressure utilizing an extractive system and will provide real-time online data.

Arun Govil, CEO & president of Cemtrex, said: We are able to provide a very cost-effective and customized CEMS package to utilities, refineries, incinerators and other industries globally from our facility in Farmingdale and with our worldwide alliances we are able to deliver prompt technical support and services for our systems.
