The Netherlands-based CB&I has secured contract to provide pipe fabrication for Gulf Coast Investment Program of The Dow Chemical.

As part of the contract, CB&I will construct new propylene and ethylene production unit in Texas and four new polyethylene plants in Texas and Louisiana of US.

CB&I fabrication services operating group president Luke Scorsone said the firm’s strategically-located fabrication facilities, production management systems and manufacturing technology provides complete piping solutions for major energy infrastructure projects.

"This distinct expertise offers our customers greater quality, efficiency and schedule reliability, and in turn, we help our customers get their products to market faster," Scorsone added.

CB&I, which is the energy infrastructure focused company, is a major provider of government services.
