Under the contract, CB&I will provide FEED development for a grassroots 420 million cubic feet per day gas plant facility as well as three associated pipelines and well collection.
The gas plant facility features a gas processing plant with water separation, condensate and liquefied petroleum gas recovery equipment, gas compression, export pumps and metering facilities.
CB&I Engineering, Construction and Maintenance operating group president Patrick Mullen said: "This contract allows CB&I to continue our legacy of delivering complex oil and gas projects in all areas of the globe, including Algeria.
"Our depth of resources and breadth of experience will create value for our customer and enable them to optimize production from this significant project."
