Both the firms did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction, which upon completion will see Power Analytics operate as a subsidiary of Causam.
Power Analytics, which has offices in San Diego and Raleigh, develops software products that solve complex power and energy related issues.
The acquisition is expected to speed up the development of advanced communications and analytics solutions for the electric power grid.
Power Analytics’ Paladin family of software products is utilised globally by utilities, government agencies, and commercial microgrids as well as data centers.
