Carillion Utility Services, who will carry out the work, has been awarded the contract to cover the Northern Gas Networks area of northern Cumbria, the North East and most of Yorkshire.
Steven Bradwell, general manager of United Utilities Networks said: “Following the quality of their submission, we are pleased to have selected Carillion to partner with us in delivering our contract with Northern Gas Networks.
