Earlier this week, the company said that first purity test showed results of up to 99.4% graphitic carbon (Cg) at the project.
The two samples were collected from around 600m-wide zone of mineralization in the southeast portion of the property, referred to as the ‘Uncle Zone.’
Caribou King Resources CEO Michael England said: "Following the prodigious success of our first purity test, we are pleased to announce that we are now increasing our efforts on the Buckingham property.
"Now that we know we have the purity, we must now focus on building the volume. A bulk sampling program scenario is anticipated by the fall."
The Uncle Zone is claimed to host disseminated flake and vein-type graphite, which the company identified during a preliminary exploration program. The property also host two linear conductors of about 400m in the northern portion.
The Buckingham graphite property comprises eight claim blocks within the central meta-sedimentary belt of the grenville geologic province and graphite occurs in veins and masses within pegmatite, diopside skarn, marble and gneiss.
