The recharging facility will allow residents of lower Manhattan a quick and easy recharge for their electric vehicles.
Rapid Park regional director Kevin Wolf says that they wanted to provide their customers the convenience and reassurance of recharging while at work or enjoying the many restaurants at nearby South Street Seaport.
"Working with Car Charging to provide EV charging services as a shareable amenity, we can now offer Rapid Park’s EV customers the ability to park and rapidly recharge their electric vehicle in one location" added Wolf.
Known as Level II Car Charging which provides 240 volts with 32 amps of power using a Coulomb Technologies EV fast charging station.
