The largest of the installation is a 6MW plant under development in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and is expected to supply around 7.5 million kWh of solar energy under a 15-year power purchase agreement.
Canadian Solar also provided modules for the 1.8MW solar project located at the Camden County Municipal Utility Authority’s (CCMUA) wastewater treatment plant in Camden, New Jersey and the 1.5MW PV system at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
The two plants have been completed and will have a combined production approximately 4.95 million kWh of clean solar energy to reduce 3,712 tons of carbon emissions per annum.
Canadian Solar CEO Shawn Qu sought to reiterate the company’s support to its customers.
"We are pleased to be selected as module provider of choice by groSolar’s experienced team as we continue to expand in the US market," said Qu.
groSolar CEO Jamie Resor added, "They are a trusted supplier that we have successfully worked with on many projects and look forward to collaborating with them on many more in the future."
