The three graphite mines Miller, Walker and Dun Raven are located near Ottawa.
The Miller Mine, located 70km west of Montreal, comprises nine claims spread across 5.4km² and includes a past mine and similar geology around the original deposit.
Mineralization at the mine site comprises five veins and although the quantity and grade are not known, usually such veins consist of high grade deposits ranging between 30% and 90% graphite.
The Walker Mine near Ottawa comprises four claims of the past mine and eleven claims of potential graphite mineralization.
Located near Shawville, Quebec, the Dun Raven is a graphite deposit. According to Canada Carbon press release, a geophysical anomaly exists of which only about 15% has been drilled.
Canada Carbon CEO Paul Ogilvie stated that the Miller property will significantly enhance the value of the firm’s business model.
"The opportunity to own a lump/vein graphite project is very exciting, we look forward to starting work as soon as possible," Ogilvie added.
"We anticipate the Walker and Dun Raven properties will be secondary material feed stock for our mill," Ogilvie added.
