Callinex Mines said that the third diamond drill hole of its campaign has yielded high-grade graphite mineralization at 43,000 hectare Neuron graphite project located in Northern Manitoba near Thompson.

The diamond drill hole NEU003 contains 4.1m section grading 60.38% carbon graphite, which is part of a 56m intersection grading 5.91% carbon graphite.

The mineralized zone in this hole begins 17.2m below surface to a depth of 117.5m, comprising disseminated to solid mineralization in various concentrations.

Callinex Mines chairman and CEO Mike Muzylowski said, "The high carbon content, coupled with large flake size is exactly what we had hoped for when we staked this area. The mineralization appears to be shallow and gently dipping."

Carried-out from late February to early April, the drilling program comprised 12 drill holes totaling 2,226m.

The company has completed logging and sampling of the core, and the samples are being shipped to SGS labs in Ontario for assay and mineralogy work.
