A call for papers has been issued for a workshop that will investigate ways to minimize the impact of dams on cultural heritage.

The workshop – How to Build a Dam and Save Cultural Heritage – will be held on 6-7 July 2012 at Durham University’s Department of Archaeology in the UK.

Postgraduate researchers from all disciplines are invited to contribute papers, which should be 20-25 minutes long with five minutes for questions, by 18 May.
