MRPL is expected to purchase 7,800 bpd crude at a discount of $3.45-$3.60 per barrel to the Bonny light.
Discussions are under way. It would be premature to comment on this issue at this point of time, a Cairn India spokesman said.
Pricing for supply of another 0.86 million tonne a year (17,200 bpd) of crude oil to HPCL will also be in the same price range as that of MRPL, said.
