The contract requires B&W PGG to engineer and deliver four spray dry absorber systems, two pulse jet fabric filters, a lime preparation system, ash recycle systems and related equipment for Columbia unit 1 and unit 2.
The erection and installation of the environmental equipment will be carried out by Babcock & Wilcox Construction, a subsidiary of B&W PGG.
Engineering work for the project is currently underway, with construction to commence in October this year.
