The company said the well which has been drilled by Nabors 456 rig reached its total depth of 13,580ft after drilling the planned 2,300ft long horizontal section.
This is the fourth well on the Heintschel gas condensate field and is the first horizontal development on the field.
Burleson Energy said the well was drilled to a true vertical depth of 11,500ft and casing was set and 36m of net hydrocarbon charged reservoir confirmed by electric logging.
The second phase of drilling horizontal section has been completed.
Under the casing work, an initial clean up period in which drilling fluids will be expelled from the well bore, the well will then be brought on wet gas and condensate production.
US-based Integrated Petroleum Consultants said the well should have cumulative production over a ten- year period of 7 Bcf of liquids-rich gas and 200,000 barrels of condensate.
