Buckley Air Force Base has installed Sunovia Energy Technologies energy-efficient 120W EvoLucia LED Aimed Optics Shoebox fixtures throughout their base.
The installation of Sunovia’s LED Shoebox fixtures will reduce the Buckley Air Force Base’s energy consumption by nearly 30% while providing maintenance-free lighting for up to ten years.
Sunovia’s Aimed LED technology gives the appearance of light being painted uniformly on the roadway due to the aiming of optics that target the light, illuminating only the areas where it is needed most.
Sunovia’s LED lights have a high color rendering index and therefore the ability to distinguish colors is greater, especially for areas in need of enhanced safety and visibility, the company said.
