Measuring approximately 800m by 500m, the anomaly was outlined using the airborne survey recently conducted by Brookemont.
Brookemont director Gregory Thomson said that the new anomaly will significantly advance the company’s Kenagami hydrothermal graphite prospect development.
"We now have a large target measuring approximately 800 metres by 500 metres. Zenyatta Ventures Ltd. (ZEN-TSX Venture) has recently made a discovery of massive hydrothermal graphite and we feel that there is district-wide potential for the discovery of additional magmatic hydrothermal graphite vein-breccia style mineralization similar to Zenyatta’s Albany Graphite Deposit," Thomson added.
"Brookemont’s new anomaly is of particular interest due its size and the strong overall TDEM response, consequently this will be our main exploration focus going forward."
In addition to holding 100% interest in the Kenagami prospect, Brookemont has a 100% interest in the Albany East Prospect as well as an aluminous clay and rare earth prospect in the Gaspe Bay Region of Quebec.
