The well in Murray County was located on the Richardson anticline in south-central Oklahoma and targeted the Simpson Sands including the Basal Oil Sandstone.
Breitling Oil and Gas CEO Chris Faulkner said the company is very optimistic in the commercial productivity of this well.
Breitling-Butterwash #1 was the first well in the company’s Butterwash Paul’s Valley Uplift prospect.
