The utility-grade project marks Boviet Renewable Power's first construction in North America.

The new Boviet Renewable Power was set up to provide high-quality solar generation facilities to assist utilities and C&I customers in meeting their renewable energy goals,

Boviet Renewable Power owns and operates the 30MW solar project portfolio in Georgia. The power generated from the project, which will be purchased by Georgia Power Company, will meet the requirements of 2.4m customers in the region.

The firm secured Tier 1 solar module manufacturer from Bloomberg New Energy Finance, based on its financial stability and independent validation.

Boviet Renewable Power managing director and Boviet Solar USA president Eric Ma said: “The addition of Boviet Renewable Power allows us to leverage our PV technology and industry relationships to help utilities generate more clean energy for their customers.

“Boviet is in a unique position to develop these types of projects. We have superior R&D and module manufacturing capability, and we have access to the financial backing needed to deliver high-capacity solar projects. In fact, adding Boviet to Bloomberg’s Tier 1 list puts us in an even stronger position to finance and develop utility-grade solar in North America.”

Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Boviet Solar USA is the North American unit of Boviet Solar Technology, which is one of the largest solar panel manufacturers in Vietnam.

The company develops and manufactures solar modules and related products at its 530,000ft2 facility in Vietnam, which is designed to produce more than 650MW of modules annually.
