Bosnian utility Elektroprivreda has sought bids for the development of two hydroelectric projects in the country.

The two facilities- 20MW Vranduk project and the 6.4MW Una Annex project will require a combined investment of $45.7m.

The utility also seeks bids for the reconstruction of the existing 9.4MW Una hydroelectric project on the Una River, with procurement scheduled to commence mid-2013.

Elektroprivreda, under its 2012-2020 investment plan, aims to utilize nearly $35m in financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to undertake the development.

Earlier in 2011, the utility invited bids to address the water leakage through grouting in the 210MW Salakovac and 57MW Grabovica hydroelectric projects.
