The project will include a total investment of $65m, of which at least $39m will be spent in Quebec.

The facility is expected to beoperational in December 2014.

Boralex president and CEO Patrick Lemaire said that the company is proud to be partnering this wind power project and working with a region that has a reputation for bold and dynamic action.

Currently, contractor Construction Hamel is clearing the site and building roads.

Up to 50 jobs will be created during construction with the wind farm with three permanent jobs over its 20-year life.
