Full-service EPC firm BE Solar, dba as Xnergy and a business unit of Blue Earth, will carry out the EPC works on the said projects.

As per the contract with Talesun, the company will provide EPC services for nine projects in California with work set to begin on three projects in the fourth quarter of 2013, and on six projects in the first quarter of 2014. Construction of the projects is expected to be completed by 2014.

The partnership with Talesun also stipulates that Talesun is a preferred solar panel supplier for Blue Earth solar projects and that Blue Earth is a preferred EPC service provider for other Talesun solar projects.

Under the terms of the EPC contract with NGP, Blue Earth will begin construction of solar projects in the fourth quarter of 2013 that would last for over 24 months with the first 10MW projects set for completion in the second quarter of 2014.

Total revenue from the contract with NGP is expected to be around $300m, while it is likely to be $36m from Talesun.

Blue Earth CEO Johnny Thomas said that the contracts with Talesun and NGP are key events for its BE Solar business unit.

"We are pleased to work with both Talesun and NGP to construct their solar projects and to have a preferred solar panel relationship with Talesun," added Thomas.
