The waste will be delivered to the bio-refinery facility BioGold plans to build in Harvey County, Kansas.

ICM will design and build the facility, which will be located on Harvey County’s existing closed landfill. The company is in the process of finalizing the county’s contract and the bio-refinery engineering and design.

Steve Racoosin, BioGold’s CEO, said: We look forward to breaking ground in Harvey County. We know that BioGold can solve this county’s waste problems. With the world class bio-refinery design provided in collaboration with ICM, our bio-refinery will become a showcase for other counties, municipalities, or anyone with a waste problem to see that BioGold can take in multiple waste streams under one roof.
