Prospectair Geosurveys has carried out the geophysical survey over 413 linear kilometers with line spacing of 200m. Ontario-based Dubé Geoscience interpreted the results.
An electromagnetic anomaly was identified along a 1.8km trend, including a circular conductive anomaly with a diameter of around 900m and a 3km long strong bedrock conductor.
Berkwood said: "Preliminary analysis indicates that the anomalies are likely strong bedrock conductors which have electromagnetic Z component channels response consistent with a potential graphitic source.
"Geophysical analysis recommends the next course of action to be follow-up ground geophysics in the form of the PhiSpy ground TDEM system to better define the conductive source positions and their extents in order to guide precision prospecting, trenching and drilling in spring and summer 2015."
Covering 5,788 hectares, the Lac Guéret South Graphite Property comprises 107 claims, and is adjacent to, on all sides, a separate Mason graphite property in the Lac Guéret region.
