These drilling results have revealed that there is good continuity of the mineralized zone between the previous broader spaced holes.

Berkeley Resources said: "Significant high grade intersections have been recorded at shallow depths (from surface to a maximum depth of 73 metres), with thicknesses up to 25 metres."

The drill program comprises a total of 38 RC holes covering an area of 2,750m and three diamond holes for 300m. It is aimed at infilling the mineralization zone delineated by the drilling last year, and extending it further along strike.

In 2013, the drilling program showed that the Zona 7 mineralization extends a further 1,200m to the southwest of the current resource area, Berkeley Resources said.

The current program covers the broadly spaced 2013 drill pattern to facilitate the estimation of a revised inferred mineral resource estimate (MRE) for Zona 7.

Said to be the largest of the company’s retortillo satellite deposits, Zona 7 currently has an inferred MRE of 3.9 million tons averaging 414ppm U3O8 for a contained 3.6 million pounds of U3O8 at a 200ppm U3O8 cut-off grade.
