New Zealand-based supplier of gas and electricity Bay of Plenty Electricity has changed its name to Bay of Plenty Energy.
Chris Power, commercial manager, said: The new name better reflected that the Whakatane-based business provided its customers with more than just electricity. While the name had changed, this would not have any impact on customers or the service that they received.
We are the long-term energy provider to this region and we supply both electricity and natural gas to customers throughout the Bay of Plenty. Our new name, ‘Bay of Plenty Energy’ more accurately reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the wider energy needs of our customers.
