The acquired properties, which are located throughout the basin, are complementary to the company’s existing operations.
Battalion Resources president and chief operating officer Keith Knapstad said this acquisition is a great fit with the company’s current position in the basin and will allow it to add scale and enhance operational efficiencies.

Battalion Resources is an exploration and production company with operations in the Powder River basin and Canada.
