The scope of work under the nine-year contract includes installation and maintenance of vital gas transmission and distribution networks across Ireland.
It also includes the delivery of new construction, emergency response and planned maintenance services.
Balfour Beatty CEO Ian Tyler said the Bord Gais network represents a significant development for international utilities business.
