As per the deal, BBS will carry out repair and replacement works on three distillation units, each with a capacity of 6 million gallons per day.
The deal which was awarded by the Kuwait Ministry of Electricity and Water.
Under the scope of the project, covers the design, procurement, manufacture and servicing of the units over a three year period.
The project will support the Gulf state’s plan to increase its desalinated water capacity from 490 million gallons per day to 700 million gallons per day within five years.
