The Springsure Creek coal mine project is an underground thermal coal mine project located 47km southeast of Emerald.
Under the contract, Ausenco will provide project management and engineering support services for the coal mine.
Ausenco will also provide an engineered budget, schedule, and execution plan to help Bandanna to finalize the design and capital cost of the coal project by the end of June.

Springsure Creek’s Stage 1 involves a single underground longwall with a production capacity of 5.5 million tons per annum.
